Pharmacist Pre-registration Training

Kings are accreddited by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain to provide  Pre-registration training to Pharmacy graduates.  As a pre-reg you can be confident that you will recieve great training throughout the year with ample oportunity to develop the skills needed to not only pass the registration exam but also to become an accomplished pharmacist.

The year comprises of several elements delivered through in-house and external training courses:

• Pre-reg training plan covering all thoery and practical aspects of syllabus.
• Responding to symptoms and Drug tariff training
• Opportunities to spend time in medical practices shadowing GP's, practice nurses, managers etc. (for suitable candidate)
• Practice Audits
• Opportunities to be involved in several pharmacy based services such as Heart M.O.T's, pregnancy testing, smoking cessation.
• Allocated weekly study time
• Regular feedback sessions with tutor
• Management training for suitable/willing candidate.
• opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the business to develop CV.
• First Aid training.
• Residential Courses - three courses thorughout year ran by Buttercups LTD (specialists in Pharmacy training) covering RPSGB syllabus, exam prep, mock exams, preparing for practice, calculations etc. Gives opportunity for you to meet other pre-regs.  You are also able to contact a buttercups tutor to ask any questions etc at any time.  The cost of the course will be covered by Kings.  Click Here for more info
